In his lifetime, he has managed to leave the corporate world and become a father. For the sake of his mental well-being, it might have been better to leave the kids and stay in the office. He has lost his illusions, free time, and money. In return, he has gained permanent exhaustion, a twitch in his left eye, and a phobia of hysterical mothers at playgrounds.
